Hi Russell,

I wanted to let you know of some good news. I have been on thyroid medication for over three years now due to very low thyroid levels. About eight weeks ago my doctor realized I was taking too much thyroid medication and advised me to stop. The excess thyroid medication was causing excessive weight loss and I bottomed out at 80 pounds! I’m 5’2’ and healthy weight for me is 102-105.

Since stopping the thyroid medication six weeks ago I have been steadily gaining weight and
I have gone up to 92 pounds! Praise the Lord!

I recently read in one of your Blog posts:

“Every time a drug is introduced into the body to correct function A, it inevitably throws off function B, C, and D.”
The Biology of Belief, Bruce Lipton, Ph.D.

Or maybe I read that quote in your excellent essay: The Care of the Cell. All I know is that it’s true. Medications do strange things with our metabolism.

I had my thyroid retested yesterday by my doctor and it is in the completely normal range! I do not need to be on any thyroid medication! My thyroid has been able to heal and balance itself out! What a miracle! PTL!

Like you said… “Time heals all wounds once we find and do the things that nourish our cells best!”

This brings me hope that in time, more healing will take place.

Thank you for all your guidance. I have been enjoying reading your blog, which continues to inspire and motivate me to stay on course.

Thank you,

Alex Gonzales, age 27
