Yoni’s Story: Ulcerative Colitis and Rheumatoid Arthritis
The name Yoni, is pronounced; Yo-knee or Yony which sounds like Pony. He is a remarkable young man with an amazing self-healing story. I started working with Yoni in April, 2016. Here is the exact (unsolicited) email message he sent me on June 22, 2016. The only change I have made is to delete his email address.

I wanted to write to you to let you know I’m crying. Not out of pain or fear or anything, but the opposite. I’m so happy and I have you to thank for this.
Listen, my life has been a series of struggles ever since I was a child. Growing up with Rheumatoid Arthritis since a baby (18 months) is a different world than most experience. There were times when I was on top of the world–laughing, playing, climbing trees–and there were times when I could barely get out of bed or even walk to the bathroom. Most of my early life was rather healthy as I was unknowingly committed to your program. But as time progressed so did my diet and lifestyle. By twelve years old I could barely walk. That’s when I was introduced to Enbrel. I felt my life returning. I was able to run and when I entered high school at the age of 14,
I was strong and confident.
Unfortunately, when I was 16/17 there was another shock to my body. I was crippled with pains in my stomach and bleeding in my stools. I couldn’t last 10 minutes without needing to run to a restroom where I would eventually pray to a God I had no belief in if only for hopes that the pain would subside. I cannot tell you how many times I sat on “my throne” wishing for God to take my life and allow me some rest.
I had tried going on different diets since my initial diagnosis of Ulcerative Colitis many times, mostly based on food allergies and while they worked to some extent I was never happy. I was losing weight and constantly hungry. My variety of foods were limited to basically chicken, asparagus and cucumbers. That’s it. Worst off, I would never get better past a certain point. It was as if I was constantly on a plateau with occasional dips. I repeated this process multiple times until I met you at age 24.
In May 2015 I entered the worst flare of my life and contemplated ending my life many times. My friends and family see me as extremely creative and intelligent (and I attribute these “gifts” to my past experiences such as my diseases) still, it felt that nothing in the world was worth the pain I was going through. For my family, I tried to persevere through the pain and enter, once again, into this food-allergy related diet. Over the year I had lost 40lbs, became extremely weak (losing pretty much all of my muscle definition), and I hit what I believe is rock-bottom. I didn’t even cry for death anymore. I had become numb to my own pain and suffering.
April 25th, 2016 will forever be engraved in my mind. This is the day I started to work with you. Only two weeks into the colon cleanse and I had taken a breath of fresh air that I had forgotten existed. Today, nearly two months into your program, I take them every day. Even more than my Ulcerative Colitis issues, my Rheumatoid Arthritis is 10 folds better than it was only two months ago. When I started taking Enbrel I was prescribed to taking 25mg twice a week through injection. Since your program, I’ve taken 25mg of Enbrel in 30 days. I’m much more limber and stronger.
I admit it’s not always easy to follow the diet when the sugar cravings come around. I have occasionally and still do, eat some cookies knowing that I really shouldn’t. But hey, it’s a work in progress. I’m confident that as I continue your protocol through the next few months that I will have even greater results.
God bless you, Russell. You have restored my faith and that is invaluable.
Sending you and Megan love with all my heart,
Yoni (age 24)
