Abby’s Story: IBS, Chronic Fatigue, Loss of Appetite, GERD, Chronic Migraines, Overall Poor Quality of Life.

Part One: My name is Abigail Jones. I am 24 years old and I live in New Smyrna Beach, Florida. I enjoy anything outdoors, fishing, boating and spending time with my friends and family. I currently work for an erosion control/environmental company as an office administrator and have since my junior year of high school. I also worked as a patient care tech in the med surge/cardiac unit at my local hospital, but starting in the fall of 2023, I am hoping to pursue a career as a surgical assistant in the OR.

Part Two: Prior to meeting Mr. Russell, I battled with digestive issues a majority of my life starting roughly 10 years ago. At the age of 13, I had my gallbladder removed which was supposed to cure my stomach and digestive issues. However, after the surgery I continued to have stomach discomfort, sensitivity to normal foods that are in an everyday diet, heartburn, little to no energy and nausea. I was put on several medications to temporarily “fix” the symptoms I was feeling, which ended up making things worse. After trying countless rounds of acupuncture to target the area of my incisions from my gallbladder surgery, changing up my intake of certain foods, some “at home remedies” and some over-the-counter remedies to help relieve my discomfort, I was still feeling very rundown and just not myself.

On my 16th birthday, I was admitted to Nemours Children’s Hospital in Orlando, Florida having surgery to remove a benign mass from my abdominal wall, about the size of a stick of butter. (What a way to spend your 16th birthday!) Fast forward about 4 years and still not improving health wise, I had numerous endoscopies done, rounds of blood work, and even a colonoscopy to find out that the results were revealing that my body was functioning just fine. Blood work results would always come back normal, colonoscopy came back good and my scopes showed nothing abnormal. Due to some inflammation in my esophagus, my gastroenterologist diagnosed me with Eosinophilic Esophagitis. I was put on an acid reflux medication to help with certain foods when I would eat them but after so many weeks, the medication was not doing its job and I continued to feel discomfort, nausea and sensitivity to food. About a year later after having these continued problems, I went back to my doctor to now have him diagnose me with Celiac Disease based on my symptoms and taking a gluten allergy test. I switched up my whole diet and lifestyle to adjust to becoming gluten-free and avoid anything with wheat in it. This helped for some time but after about 4- 6 months, this too began to wear off and I was back to square one.

All this caused a major stress to my childhood as well as my teen years as I did not feel like myself for quite some time and was finding myself not being able to eat a majority of normal foods that I used to love or feel the positivity and joys of life that most people would have felt at this age.

Since having the removal of my gallbladder, I couldn’t eat greasy, fried, spicy or rich foods. It was as if at times these foods would travel right through me very quickly. I was giving up hope, settling with the fact that I would have to deal with these issues for the rest of my life with no easy explanation and no solution for my many uncomfortable symptoms.

After having no real source of direction to turn to for answers, about 4 months ago, a very dear friend of my Mom, Nancy Sharff, reached out and spoke to my Mom about giving the ASEA Redox Signaling supplements a try as she assured us that they would be life changing for me as they have been for many others. At this point in my life, I was willing to try anything that would help me feel “normal” again. The Redox Supplements seemed to be helpful in some ways but most of my most troubling symptoms persisted. When I shared this with Nancy, she quickly connected me with Mr. Russell (Mariani) to address the root causes of my digestive issues.

Part Three: I began my journey with Mr. Russell in the beginning of June 2022. My expectations were very high as my first conversation with Mr. Russell was very positive and informative on what his program was about and how it was going to make me feel whole again. After feeling miserable for so many years and not having answers or a “why” to explain the way I was feeling, I was truly hopeful that following this program was going to fix all of my issues. Throughout my program with Mr. Russell, there were times where I wasn’t feeling 100% myself (as usual) and I was questioning if all of the changes I was making were going to heal me, and I had to keep telling myself that no matter what negativity I was feeling, I was inching towards my “wow” moment of feeling great again.

Just about the time that I had finished the colon cleanse part of the program (about 5-6 weeks after starting) I began to feel something that was so unfamiliar to me because it had been so long that I had felt what it was like to feel healthy and to really feel like me.

Just about the time that I had finished the colon cleanse part of the program (about 5-6 weeks after starting) I began to feel something that was so unfamiliar to me because it had been so long that I had felt what it was like to feel healthy and to really feel like me. After several days in a row of feeling really good, I called Mr. Russell and said: “It’s happening! Just like you said that it would. My body is healing and repairing and restoring all of its normal functioning. This feels GREAT! I didn’t really believe it was possible. I had HOPED for so many years that it would be possible but as you know, I had tried so many things and they didn’t work. Your approach to health and healing really WORKS and I am so relieved and so happy!”

Throughout this program, I learned the importance of listening to my body when it would send me signals of something that seemed off, taking the time to eat and digest my food properly, while eating meals at earlier times throughout the day and many other adjustments I made in the area of more complementary habits.

Part Four: Today my life and health is the best it has been in a very long time (since before my unnecessary gall bladder surgery at age 13!) To have my energy back, having the opportunity to enjoy daily activities and eat foods that used to be my enemy has never felt better. I have a much better positive outlook on life and look forward to what each day has to bring. My journey has not been the easiest, especially adjusting to these negative digestive issues at such a young age and still managing to make the best of each day even when I would wear a smile that was covering up the daily discomforts that I was feeling. As I type this testimonial, I feel very emotional, as I will be forever grateful for crossing paths with Mr. Russell and Ms. Megan. Two individuals that have helped me restore my health and reclaim my purpose to take on all of the hopes and dreams that I wish to pursue throughout the rest of my entire life!
