George's Story: Diverticulitis

Hi, I was scheduled for surgery in January, 2008 to remove part of my colon after suffering a series of attacks over a two year period. I had CTscan in December of 2006 and June of 2007 and a Colonoscopy in January, 2008. My primary symptoms were constipation and extreme abdominal pain. I could never be sure exactly where the pain was coming from because it was so extreme. I also had headaches and neck pain. I was given antibiotics and a fiber formula to help with the constipation. Symptoms would subside but then it was only a matter of time before I would have another acute attack. After the third one the doctors said I was vulnerable to experience a bowel perforation if I had another attack and so I was scheduled for surgery. I started looking around to see if there might be another solution. Through a friend of a friend I found Russell Mariani and started working with him in December, 2007.

I noticed dramatic improvement within a few weeks of starting the program. A few weeks after that and I had no symptoms at all. Now it is March, 2008 and I feel really good and I hope it stays that way. I did all the things Russell suggested and I continue to practice the complementary foundational habits as he explains in his book. I guess if I had to pick one thing that really impresses me it would be the watercure.
